5-Day Immersion with Igor Kufayev
Immersions with Meditation Master Igor Kufayev offer more than spiritual development:
Rooted in non-dual Tantric Śaivism, these gatherings invite a living process of
transfiguration, in which Consciousness awakens to itself in and as the body. Working
responsively with each participant, Igor draws upon energetic transmission, meditation,
breath and mantra, self-inquiry, emotional introspection and the transformative power of
beauty.
The environment created is life-affirming at its core. Rather than seeking liberation
elsewhere or turning away from ordinary existence, every aspect of life—body, relationships,
emotions, creativity and work—is welcomed as an expression of Awareness and drawn
organically into the process of awakening. In the presence of an adept and within the shared

field of the gathering, this integral work can unfold with unusual depth, immediacy and
care—opening participants to the recognition of their true nature and a more fully embodied
celebration of life.
Originally trained as a painter, Igor Kufayev underwent a radical awakening in his mid-thirties
and has since served as a conduit of transmission, guiding seekers through the Kuṇḍalinī
process and the integration of heightened awareness.
This live immersion at Monte Velho Retreat Center spans over 6 calendar days and 5 nights.
